This big thick chunk of love was lovingly surrendered by his previous owners due to a change in work schedule and having to crate him most of the day. This boy is a huge (literally) love bug who would love nothing more than to sit next to you all day long as your companion.

His previous home did have another older dog, cat, and school aged children to whom he did really well with. He does take awhile to warm up to other dogs in the home though as he can be a little territorial. He is a gentle and sweet soul that would do really well with owners who worked from home or were retired. he does have some anxiety with meeting new people, especially men for the first few times. He also has anxiety with car rides, although not severe. He will likely need calming chews for certain situations and will likely do better once he has time to get use to his surroundings.

Please know that this boy is thick and is 75 pounds, he will need to have a ramp/stairs for higher vehicles. He is able to jump on couch/bed on his own and goes up and down stairs well. His energy level is low, but he does enjoy short walks and playing with his toys. He requires special eye drops twice a day and a daily allergy pill. He will require these things the rest of his sweet life.
