26 Jul Roscoe
Roscoe is a rowdy four year old puppy who has had a rough start in life, and needs a patient human family with no kids and lots of structure. His original owner reported a bite history, but as he was crated for long periods, we’re not sure if that biting was due to aggression or reluctance to be caged for long periods of time. New owners must be very consistent, gentle, and willing to let him gain confidence in new surroundings without forcing him to do anything.
He’s great on the leash, and loves both walks and car rides. Roscoe is house broken, and would benefit most from a fenced in yard where he could go outside multiple times each day to explore and play ball – he loves tennis balls and rubber toys to chew.
He’s affectionate, a lap snuggler, and loves to be right underfoot. He will be a terrific companion for adults who are willing to take the time he will need. He socializes well with the three dogs in his foster home, and has had no history of dog aggression.
