Hi Everyone!!

My name is Stewie and I am a big-headed baby, just like my namesake. I am still learning my name, but I think I like it! My foster mom sings me a Stew Boo song and we both dance around and act so silly. I’m a good dancer, since my big head helps my moves.  Acting silly is my number one skill, but I’m also learning “sit” “wait” and “leave it.” I REALLY like snacks, so I’m learning quickly because then I get the snacks faster!

I came to my foster mom after spending some time at a shelter in Louisville. I was taken to the shelter because I had a disagreement with the skin puppy (they called her a toddler) in my original home. I was just minding my own business, chewing a bone, when that skin puppy snatched it from me. I yelled at her for taking it and that got me in trouble. I didn’t snap or try to bite her. Honestly, I thought I handled the situation well, but I guess not. Anyway, I am very glad to be out of the shelter and into my foster home. I love all the cozy beds and yummy food here. I love to chew bones, play with toys, and chase balls in the yard….good luck getting it back from me without trading for a snack though. HA!! Tricked you into more snacks!

I am completely house trained and only “marked” once when I came into my foster home. I love, love, love to sleep in. I like to have a puppy party at night and perform zoomies all around the room (my foster mom calls it “puppy witching hour”). Then, I crash hard and want to sleep in all morning! However, I will happily get up for breakfast though!

I wear my harness and that is that. I don’t want it taken off and on, and I absolutely will NOT let you put a collar on me. I know what looks good on me and a collar is just not going to work. I am the boss about this and not willing to negotiate. I get very scared will alligator chomp you if you even try to sneak one on me.

I have a very rough and tuff play style and would just prefer to be the only dog, instead of trying to teach some pup my way to play. I need a fenced in yard so that I can patrol and zoom as I please. It’s even better if you have squirrels that I can chase. I am working on my speed and think I might catch one soon!

My foster mom will update you as she gets to know more about me. If you think you could be my forever family, please fill out an application and mention my name!
