Nova is a senior bulldog (around 8-9 years old) and a cherished IBR permanent foster. After years of having puppies and bouncing between owners, she’s finally living the dream—soaking up the love in her forever foster home.

Weighing in at a sturdy 62 lbs of pure bulldog determination, Nova has one rule: she goes where she pleases, and humans must simply adapt. She may be low-energy most of the time, snoozing away on her oversized bed, but mealtime transforms her into an acrobat of excitement. With jumps, twists, and spins, she proves that food is the true way to her heart.

Nova’s zoomies after potty breaks are a rare but hilarious sight, but her real passion? Waging war against the evil vacuum cleaner. 🦸‍♀️💥 When she’s not defending her home from rogue appliances, she’s politely ignoring the cat and any other dogs she meets.

Despite a past filled with hardships, Nova is a tough cookie. She battles Canine Cognitive Dysfunction (doggie dementia), which sometimes causes confusion and anxiety, but her devoted foster family is always by her side, keeping her safe and comfortable. She may not understand toys yet, and she still prefers her own sleeping space, but she’s learning the joys of couch snuggles and love.

Nova may be a permanent foster, but to her foster family, she’s forever home. ❤️🐶
