Gretchen is a 2-year-old breeder release who is ready to leave her past behind and find the forever home she deserves.

Gretchen has been fully vetted, almost house trained, is crate trained, and she is ready to begin her new life!

This sweet girl absolutely loves her person. She is affectionate, devoted, and wants to be close to the person she trusts. Because she loves her person so much, she can become protective and possessive of them, especially when they are resting. She may decide that guarding her person is her very important job! 

Gretchen is also a little jumpy and jittery, especially when faced with new things. The world is still a big, unfamiliar place for her, and new experiences can be scary. She will need someone who understands that she may need time, patience, reassurance, and gentle guidance as she learns that she is safe.

Because of her tendency to guard her person, Gretchen will do best as the only dog in the home. She would love having her person all to herself and being the center of someone’s world.

She just needs someone willing to show her that the world isn’t such a scary place and that she finally has a family of her own.
