Hi I am Bette.  I am a very active senior girl who found herself back with IBR after my owner attempted to dump me at a shelter for absolutely no reason at all.  She said she was ‘afraid I wouldn’t be good with a new baby in the house,” but I am most excellent with small children.  I love them! I live with one now in my current foster home.  I am the best snuggler ever.  I am active and like to follow my humans around to explore the world.
Upon my return to IBR, I saw the dogtor, and they couldn’t believe I am 9 years old.  I am as healthy as can be, outside of the fact I have dry eyes that weren’t taken care of by my previous adopters, so they are all itchy and scratchy.  That will heal up nicely now that I am getting daily eye drops.  I am current on vaccines, microchipped, spayed and happy as clam.
I am house and crate trained and walk very well on leash.  I enjoy car rides, head scratches and all the treats.  I, however, do not like dogs.  I must be an only fur child in the house and must be watched around other dogs at the vet or on walks.  I have bitten another dog previously. IBR doesn’t know my past, and are unsure why this is such an issue for me.
I am truly the best girl ever.  I was failed by a miserable human being who promised to love me the rest of my life, so IBR is now committed to finding me an amazing family.  Is it you?  Lets chat!
